Agent Profile:
It is so tempting in writing one’s own personal profile to list interests,
hobbies, and personal history. But, in my opinion, most prospective clients
care less about their agent’s personal tastes and activities, and more
about how that agent can help them achieve their own goal. When choosing an
agent, most people look to someone who will work hard, who
is knowledgeable and experienced, who will give them accurate
and honest information, communicate often, and ultimately
get the job done. Bearing that in mind, there is some of my
personal experience and history that can help facilitate finding the right property
for you and your family, or assist in a timely sale of your home. I’m
happy to share with you my interests and background as it relates to
serving you in the most efficient manner possible.
I have resided in the Carson Valley since 1975, and have lived here through
floods, fires, and landslides! In short, I know the high spots, the
low spots, and the places to avoid! I have been selling
real estate here since 1994 and my husband and I have raised
both of our sons here in the Carson Valley. They attended Douglas
County Schools from Kindergarten through high school graduation. Both
of them have gone on to 4-year universities, the oldest graduating and working,
and the youngest on an athletic scholarship at University of Arizona due to
graduate in 2005. (Douglas County School District is one of Nevada’s leading
school districts.)
Since our boys were both active in youth sports and activities, I am
quite familiar with club sports, youth programs, ski programs, and host of activities
available through the local agencies. Being a parent supporter and
civic minded activist, I am very familiar with county procedures as
it relates to building, zoning issues, local political issues, and community
concern over growth issues and voter initiatives that can affect your home transaction.
My husband and I take full advantage of the beauty of the Sierras and
all it has to offer, and can recommend first hand it’s hiking
trails, (our passion) great ski spots, good restaurants, and the many wonderful
outdoor adventures that await, literally outside our front door. We
also enjoy and partake in local concerts, crafts shows, spas, and favorite gathering
spots with friends and family.
I am happy to share my experience with you and be the first to welcome
you to our great community.
